Subprocessors

Subprocessors

Last updated: 2026-05-02

This page lists the third-party service providers ("subprocessors") that Cloudless uses to operate the service. It is referenced from the Privacy Policy and is intended to help users, business customers, and merchant reviewers understand the providers involved in delivering Cloudless.

Cloudless reviews each subprocessor for its ability to provide appropriate technical and organizational measures for the data it processes. Subprocessors only process information as needed to provide their service to Cloudless, and only on Cloudless's instructions.

Important Note on Backup Storage

Cloudless follows a bring-your-own-storage model. Encrypted backup chunks are written to the object storage provider that the user configures inside the application (for example AWS S3 or Backblaze B2). The user's chosen object storage provider is not a Cloudless subprocessor — the storage account belongs to the user, the user is the contracting party with that provider, and Cloudless does not control that account on the user's behalf.

The subprocessors listed below are the providers that Cloudless itself contracts with to operate its own infrastructure and business.

Cloudless does not currently embed third-party telemetry, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs inside the desktop or mobile application binaries.

Rows marked "Not currently used" reflect categories that are not in use at the time of publication and will be updated if that changes.

Changes to This List

Cloudless may add, remove, or replace subprocessors as the service evolves. We will update this page when material changes are made and will revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
